Allegiant Stadium’s Twitter account hinted at the gig. On Sunday, a tweet showed a picture of the letter “E” outside the stadium. It just tells readers and apparently John fans “8 am tomorrow.”
A photo of the Allegiant Stadium field will also appear on John’s Twitter account on Saturday. “In two days” appears in both end zones. On the 50-yard line is an “E.”
The Review-Journal predicts that information about the show will appear on Twitter Monday.
John will perform in the western US in October and November. It is already known that he will be at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on October 8-9. He will also perform on November 4 at Minute Maid Park in Houston. He will be at Petco Park in San Diego on November 9.
The West Coast performances are likely to conclude with performances November 17-20 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. The concerts are part of his ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road: The Final Tour’.
Las Vegas Residence
John, now 75, used to reside in the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. “The Red Piano” was performed between 2004 and 2009. “The Million Dollar Piano” was at the venue between 2011 and 2018. In total, he played 445 shows during the two residencies, the Las Vegas Weekly reported.
During his farewell performance in Las Vegas on September 6, 2019, he told the sold-out crowd, “I’m going to miss you.
You are in my heart, you are in my soul, every fiber of my being. I will never forget you, but I have a life now. Years ago I never thought I would have a family of my own, but now I do… I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
In 2019, Billboard magazine placed Elton John in third place on its list of the greatest artists of all time. The Beatles were the first. The Rolling Stones second.
Among his many accolades are Academy and Tony awards, as well as several Grammy Awards. He was also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994.
John has been honored with one diamond, 40 platinum or multi-platinum and 23 gold albums during his career. He has sold more than 300 million records.
The second best-selling single of all time was his 1997 performance of ‘Candle in the Wind’. It was in memory of his girlfriend Princess Diana. The song was performed at her funeral after her sudden death from a car accident in Paris.
